So, I got the Wii U, and I am psyched to try out many games on it. The first game I got was this one (alongside Nintendo Land). I'm sorry, but recording this system is odd compared to recording other systems. The audio is a lot lower, so please turn the volume up if you want to hear things better. As for the quality, it looks a lot better on an actual TV. When converted to a file, the quality isn't too good, so please forgive me on that.

This Playthrough is going for 100% in Story Mode with all of the File Stars obtained.

In this part, we complete all of Acorn Plains.

These are the stages shown in this part:

Acorn Plains-1: Acorn Plains Way: This simple stage introduces you to Flying Squirrel Mario, who can glide in the air and perform an extra jump while in the air. He can also cling onto walls.

Star Coin #1: Use the Flying Squirrel form to glide over to this Coin.

Star Coin #2: Enter the Pipe a little bit after the first Coin, then grab the Star Coin in the new room.

Star Coin #3: Perform a double jump as Flying Squirrel Mario to reach a new Pipe near the end of the stage, then glide down the room, collecting Coins, along with the Star Coin.


Acorn Plains-2: Tilted Tunnel: This stage takes place underground and is full of slanted Pipes and crystal structures.

Star Coin #1: Just jump into this one after the slide with Goombas.

Star Coin #2: You should see a few Brick Blocks by a Piranha Plant. Toss a Shell at the one to the right, then climb up the new Beanstalk to a Cannon Pipe that will launch you into the next Coin.

Star Coin #3: Near the sign pointing down, Ground Pound the crystal by it for them to move. Enter the Pipe, then grab the Coin.

Secret Exit: Near the Red Ring, use the slanted crystal to jump onto the ceiling. Run to the right and jump up again to reach an even higher structure. Follow this path to the exit.

Acorn Plains-Blooper: Blooper's Secret Lair: This stage takes place underwater and is full of Bloopers and Pipes that fire out currents of water.

Star Coin #1: When the current-firing pipes move, swim up the section with the seaweed into the Coin.

Star Coin #2: In the section with the rotating Pipes, get under the long, red one and mash the jump button so you won't die. Keep going to the right and swim up to the Coin.

Star Coin #3: In the next room, go up to the left. You'll see three green Pipes, one that doesn't have a current. Enter it, go down and get the Coin, then leave before the Bloopers get you.


Acorn Plains-Tower: Crushing-Cogs Tower: This stage contains a bunch of cogs that you must climb up to progress through the level. The boss here is a Boom Boom, which can be easily defeated with three stomps.

Star Coin #1: Wall Jump up the wall to the right in the beginning to the first Coin.

Star Coin #2: Wait for the cog to rotate to the left, then do a short jump so you land on the platform with the Coin.

Star Coin #3: Near the end of the stage, you'll see Coins in the wall. Walk through it, then use the Cannon Pipe to fire into the Star Coin.


Acorn Plains-3: Yoshi Hill. This is the first stage with the green Yoshi. Use him to eat any enemies in your way.

Star Coin #1: Flutter Jump into this Coin.

Star Coin #2: Ground Pound through the Brick Blocks on the ground to find a hidden passage. Enter the Pipe, then bounce off the Piranha Plants to get the Coin.

Star Coin #3: Near the end of the stage, there are two rows of Coins above a gap. Fall through the gap to find a Pipe. Jump into the Coin.


Acorn Plains-4: Mushroom Heights: This stage makes good use of the Balloon Baby Yoshi. If you want the Star Coins, you'll have to use it.

Star Coin #1: Fly up with the Baby Yoshi to get this one.

Star Coin #2: Fly under the blue mushroom and get this one.

Star Coin #3: Carefully grab the Coin between the two Super Piranha Plants.


Acorn Plains-5: Rise of the Piranha Plants: As you would expect, this stage is full of Piranha Plants. Fire Mario will be really useful in this stage.

Star Coin #1: Get the Star Coin above the Super Piranha Plant after the platform lowers it.

Star Coin #2: Kill the Super Piranha Plant in the way of the Pipe, then enter it when the platform rises. Kill the other Super Piranha Plants, then Wall Jump off the Pipe after getting the Coin.

Star Coin #3: Climb up the Blocks and get this Coin above the Hammer Bro.


Acorn Plains-Castle: Lemmy's Swingback Castle: This stage is full of swinging platforms and lava. Take a Super Acorn and breeze through the stage. Lemmy definitely isn't a challenge. Watch out for his explosive balls of doom and stomp him three times.

Star Coin #1: Jump into this one when crossing the platforms. You can't miss it.

Star Coin #2: Glide into this Coin as Flying Squirrel Mario.

Star Coin #3: Carefully land on the green Pipe between some Podoboos, then time your jump to grab the Coin and land on the platform. Pokaż więcej
